May 2027 Malawi Surgery Trip

Positions Needed: 1 General surgeon, 1 GYN, 2 scrubs, 1 CNRA, 2 first assists, 2 circulators, 3 nurses
Blessings Hospital is a Christian inpatient/outpatient facility with lab, pharmacy, mobile clinics, and other services in Lumbadzi, Malawi. The Malawian hospital and mobile clinic staff prescreen surgical candidates who are in need of assistance. Chikondi Health Foundation organizes visiting medical teams on multiple trips each year to perform these life-giving surgeries to some of the poorest in the world. Blessings Hospital has two surgical suites that are well-suited for general & gynecological surgeries. All visiting medical personnel are fully registered with the appropriate Malawi regulatory bodies. Our team also welcomes non-medical assistants for logistics support. Your trip with Chikondi Health Foundation includes comfortable accommodation (electricity & hot water!), all meals, local transportation, medical evacuation coverage, and surgical supplies. An optional safari experience is available as an add-on. We invite you to visit the "Warm Heart of Africa!"   Team members participating in the safari add-on will depart for Malawi on May 25, 2027.
